A cognitive assessment can be a useful addition when assessing for Autism or ADHD.

We use the WISC-V for children and the WAIS-V for adults

Cognitive assessments are only offered as an add on to Autism or ADHD assessments.

They are often useful when:

We suspect something other than ADHD or Autism might be present.

A learning difficulty is suspected in addition to Autism or ADHD.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

01

If you are having an Autism or ADHD assessment, you can either request a cognitive assessment to be added, or we may recommend one.

02

We add an extra appointment, in person, where you will go through a series of set tasks and activities.

03

We score the results, creating a cognitive profile of your relative strengths and weaknesses, and write up a report.

04

We will integrate these results with how we expect Autism and ADHD to present, and add it in as part of the assessment.

05

We make recommendations based on your cognitive profile, which can be especially useful for work or school.

This is in addition to the fee for an ADHD or Autism assessment.
